MEETING CRITICAL FUNDRAISING GOALS

The long awaited Library reconstruction project is about to turn from dream to reality!

Maplewood was awarded a State Library Construction grant of almost $8.4 million in November of 2020. In February 2021, The Township of Maplewood confirmed their commitment to bond $12 million toward our new library. The Library Foundation has already raised over $1.4 million of private funds, aiming to reach $2,000,000 plus by the time the project is complete.

The state and the town have made this project possible, and now the Foundation’s work is underway to rally our residents and complete the funding for this transformational project.
